1- Harry’s story, (at least in the first book), reminds me a lot of the Cinderella story.

2- I’ve often wondered the chaos that Muggles would have with a future wizard/witch and having no idea what is going on.

3- Fish are known to only grow as much as their bowl. It is a stretch that this would apply to Harry.

A great introduction to Harry and young Dursley.

Hey Dave,

I agree with you that Harry’s story has a very fairy tale-like feel to it! Cinderella is a good comparison! Also, I agree, I think it’s definitely a stretch to think Harry didn’t grow because he lived in a closet. Hahaha.

I never really thought about the fairy tail component, but it really struck me how they treat Harry just like Cinderella. Then his “Harry Godmother” (Hagrid) shows up and he gets to escape.
