Another fun chapter. Not much happens that advances the story, but some very fun moments.
Dumbledore was really getting desperate hiring Lockhart. I wonder which was worse, Lockhart or Umbridge. Lockhart taught the most useless, material. I seriously doubt any of the kids learned anything other than the color of Lockhart’s eyes or his favorite color.
Movie Colin was more annoying than Book Colin. However, I don’t hate him or see him as a perv. He just is a bit overeager to please and be accepted, especially with Harry. And as an avid photographer at family events I have gotten the, “enough with pictures” eye.
Ron totally deserved the Howler. Luckily there were no long term consequences from the flight.

The Howler may be cringeworthy, but that scene was absolutely hilarious. The only thing I didn’t like was the fact that she was airing out the Weasleys dirty laundry.
Professor Sprout dated Flitwick so it’s clear to see that Lockhart os as opposite to her type as you can get.
It sounds like Alice is the kind of person who wants to touch a hot plate after the waiter warns her not to touch it because it’s hot.
I can’t believe that Ron went through the entire year with a broken wand. What would have happened if the exams weren’t cancelled? He would have failed the year for sure.
That communion cup story is absolutely hilarious.
