Alice and Martha recap chapter 3 of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. What will Harry’s life be like as an outcast on the run from the law? Are the extra four Sickles for a toothbrush and hot water bottle worth it? And just why is Cornelius Fudge so annoying?

You raise a good question, what was Black doing stalking Harry? I can only guess he was keeping an eye on him, but way to be creepy Sirius.

And yes, Harry is way over dramatic about the consequences of his incident with Aunt Marge. If this had been Harry’s 5th year, the concern would be real.

I think we can all agree, the movie Night Bus scene is way overdone

It’s a really nice treat to listen to you record together! I totally have the image of a bag on a stick over the shoulder when it comes to kids running away. The name for it is ‘bindle’. I’d like to know what was Sirius’ plan too. Glad you talked about it! Stan’s appearances and mentions are funny. It’s sweet that it’s Rowling’s grandfather. I didn’t realize how refreshing it was not to get a whole backstory of Neville’s name until you mentioned it. Maybe Harry was getting too good at being a Muggle when he slipped Voldemort’s name. PDSD must definitely be a thing. I wonder if Fudge’s signature would have counted.
