Not to keep harping on Snape but yes, this chapter defines that he is just a lonely, angry man who picks on kids.

I think everyone can agree that Lupin is one of the best Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher, but I have one big issue with this class. Now everyone in the class knows your deepest, darkest fears. Man this could lead to some serious teasing and torturing.

Now, my serious bogart would be disappointing my wife and my Halloween bogart would be old hags. My Grandma dressed up as an old hag and would chase us around the house for Halloween. She was normally a quiet, reserved lady, but something about Halloween and she would let her fun out. Unfortunately for me, I encountered her “Hag” persona when I was about 5 and freaked me out.

I just finished listening to Boggart in the Wardrobe. This has to be my favourite chapter in the book so far. I’m glad you ranked it second place.

I didn’t expect to the Shrinknig Potion to work that way either. They probably made Snape especially nasty to show the reason why Neville used him as a greatest fear. I’m no Snape apologist, though. I wonder if there’s an attempt of a picture of a Boggart in the Fantastic Beasts textbook.

The Boggart should have been the real weirdo!

I don’t think there was any secrecy with the death eaters as to who was in the club. I think it was just when they went out muggle killings and committing crimes they just wore the masks so they couldn’t prove who did what.
