4.28 The Madness of Mr. Crouch

This chapter art may not be Alice’s favorite, but the chapter makes up for it with opportunities for plenty of Dobby and Winky impressions, discussions of Ron’s problem with Hermione’s social activism, and the symbolism of Barty Crouch, Sr. Plus, Harry is super awkward with Krum and Snape trolls Harry pretty hard, so what’s not to like?

Hahaha, man that Hunger Games episode was so good! That winner, though…

With you complaining about the art, I Googled the image to see what you were talking about. Then I discovered the HP Companion, which I absolutely love. https://hp-companion.com/

Hermione should know how to read a room. The house elves aren’t even ignoring Hermione — they’re downright kicking her out.

The nifflers are so cute! I love how the one in Fantastic Beasts is so prominent.

It’s so eerie to hear you talking about letter bombs when you were on the subject of Hermione’s hate mail real world equivalent because that’s exactly what’s going on in the states right now.

It’s interesting to see the different meaning of ”bugged”.

This is Cedric.s last year at Hogwarts so even if he did survive, he wouldn’t have been able to use it anyway.

Isn’t it a bit disturbing that an 18 year-old has so much interest in a 14-year-old?

I didn’t remember that was Crouch Sr’s fate. How sad. I thought that he would be the best candidate for the Real Weirdo.
