5.3 The Advance Guard

Alice and Martha analyze Harry’s first interaction with the real Mad-Eye Moody, empathize with Tonks’s inclination to show off for a celebrity, and poke fun at Lupin’s ability (or lack thereof) to flirt. Make sure to finish this episode before the Dursleys return home from the non-existent All-England Best-Kept Lawn Competition!

Congrats on reaching your first patron goal back in March! I wasn’t able to find the link of that show you guest stared on (I should have waited for you to say the title instead of just pausing…) so I had to do a deep dive of your Facebook. One advantage for when I catch up is that I’ll finally be up to date with current events!

This chapter has me mourning for Remus and Tonks the most. Moody was already elderly but Remus and Tonks were newlyweds and new parents too.

I never thought about how we were robbed with Original Moody.

Fernwithy shipped Remus and Tonks even before they were canon so I’m sure that there was something there. I look forward to finding out when I read Shifts.

Oh, I didn’t even catch the sickle moon. Nice observation!!
