7.13 The Muggle-Born Registration Commission

The trio continues with their extremely well-thought-out plan at the Ministry, with only a few tiny hiccups along the way. With Hermione and Ron busy doing the actual jobs of their alter egos, Harry checks a most unlikely location for the locket–Umbridge’s office, which is apparently now guarded by Mike Wazowski. And don’t worry, if you’ve been missing the horribleness of the High Inquisitor since the end of book five, you’re guaranteed to get your fix this chapter, as she stoops to new lows in her quest to stamp out Muggle-born witches and wizards.

Yikes, my Internet went down just as I was posting my thoughts. There weren’t many. I remember thinking that the eye did belong to Moody and how Umbridge wasn’t using it at its full potential even though I think you have to lose an eye to unlock all of the benefits.

The detonators were really cute — I looked them up!

I totally missed ‘Wakanda’ in the audio version! And Arthur was lucky that he didn’t go toe to toe with the real Runcorn.

Maybe Harry should have said “Hermione, it’s Harry” but at that point anything would had spooked her,
