It’s also time to try out a few of the twelve fail-safe ways to charm witches on both of the Weasley women, though Ron and a certain tall, faceless, unpleasant stranger might have something to say about that. In discussing the chapter, Martha uncovers Harry’s true signature move (spoiler: it isn’t Expelliarmus) and someone (who could it be??) might end up shedding a few tears.

Thanks for the podcast–have been listening for years and hope you continue after DH.
Just a note because you two are making me giggle as this episode kicks into gear. I think when Harry speaks to Ginny in her bedroom, he uses the expression ’thin on the ground,’ which is an entire phrase to say, ’scarce’; as opposed to him saying ’thin, on the ground,’ as if to say ’unlikely, on the front lines of the battle against Voldemort.’ I don’t think he’s talking about ’on the ground’ like a soldier, he’s just using a colloquialism that means limited.
